HKCT awarded “Manpower Developer” for six consecutive years

HKCT has passed the professional renewal assessment of the “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme” (the Scheme) for another two years and is recognised as “Manpower Developer” ("MD") in the “Government Department, Public Body and NGO” group of the Scheme which aims to acknowledge institutions and organisations on its effort in staff nurturing and development.

Launched by Employees Retraining Board (ERB), the Scheme was the first local accreditation system which assesses manpower training’s maturity and  development strategies, and recognises organisations which demonstrate outstanding achievements in manpower training and development. Organisations that fulfill the criteria are acknowledged as “MDs” within a two-year validity period. It is the third time for HKCT passing the assessment of the Scheme. This latest entitlement gives her the status of “MD” until 31 March 2022.

At present, a total of 458 organisations from over 30 industries have been accredited as “MDs” in Hong Kong. Through participating in interactive exchange and employer activities, HKCT can share with other organisations practical experience, market information and latest trends in manpower training and development. With the honour to be awarded together with many other fellow organisations, HKCT will continue to do her best to provide employees with a good working environment, opportunities for training and development, and improve the quality of human resources.
