Project Leader

Department of Applied Social Sciences

Duties

The appointees will assist the project director in the research project - “Pathways to Recovery: Empowering Change and Growth through Family and Peer support with Motivational Interviewing”.
Key responsibilities include:
A) conducting comprehensive literature review;
B) assisting in developing intervention protocols, designing questionnaires, and creating research plans;
C) analyzing collected data and prepare draft reports;
D) conducting MITI coding for fidelity control;
E) Supporting manuscript and proposal writing activities;
F) Implementing and coordinating project activities, including:
- Liaising with external stakeholders
- Managing administrative and financial tasks
G) performing any other duties as assigned by the Project Director

Requirements

Applicants should:
A) hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related social sciences discipline;
B) Honors degree holders preferred;
C) Minimum 3 years' combined experience in:
- Drug counseling
- Project management
D) Motivational Interviewing (MI) practitioner certification advantageous;
E) fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
F) have good statistical knowledge;
G) have a strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills;
H) graphic design, social media, video-editing skills and AI application knowledge will be in advantage and
I) be able to work independently
