Student Words

Graduate Calvin Man

I have joined Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT) for a Diploma and a Higher Diploma course after HKCEE, which is one of the major watersheds in my life, Lecturers are experienced in the industry, who always share their real cases with us during class. They are also very caring and that’s why I am still in touch with them after years upon graduation. I have been offered to work as an intern in various tourism and hospitality organizations, including JW Marriott Hotel Beijing. Different job experiences have broadened my horizon and equipped myself to prepare better for the industry. The study life at HKCT is remarkable and I decided to continue my study after that. I have obtained a Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in United Kingdom and now I am working in an international cruise agency.

The programme offers a wide range of internship opportunities for students to work in the MICE industry, event coordination, travel agency, private clubs, hotel banquet planning, theme parks or relevant organizations. Students who perform well may be offered full-time positions by the enterprises.
