    Computers and Internet have become part of today's lives. Coupled with the emergence of various "Social Media", the new "Social Media and Digital Marketing" model was also born. Compared with traditional marketing, Social Media and Digital Marketing has the advantages of lower cost, strong interaction, quick response, wide dissemination, lack of time and geographical restrictions, so no matter whether it is "internet economy" or "real economy". Social Media and Digital Marketing has become an integral part of today's marketing plan. This programme provides professional training in social media and digital marketing for students and lay a solid foundation for building up students' basic and transferable skills. Students can enhance their professional knowledge in the industry through workshops, company visits, exchange programmes with institutions in Mainland China and practical training to meet future needs in their careers.

  • Course Feature

    • Emphasising both theory and practice, the programme is taught by professional teachers who all have related work experience in the industry. Besides professional subjects, general studies and language training are also emphasized
    • Students will be arranged for no less than 240 hours of internship in social media and digital marketing so they can learn directly from the industry and increase their competitiveness after graduation
    • With strong and close network with the industry and professional bodies, numerous kinds of visits or other learning activities will be organised to broaden students' horizon and enrich their knowledge in industry trends
    • Students have opportunities to participate in local and international seminars, company visits and exchange programmes to broaden their perspective
  • Entry Requirements

    Successful completion of Secondary 6 (Level 2 in 5 HKDSE subjects*) ; or
    Successful completion of Secondary 7 (1 pass in HKAL or 2 passes in HKAS Level subjects; and 5 passes in HKCEE*); or
    Holder of Diploma for Tertiary Studies; or
    Holder of Yi Jin Diploma; or
    Holder of Pre-Associate Degree / Diploma; or
    Aged 21 or above with 1 year relevant working experience in related industry(s); or
    Equivalent qualifications; And
    Pass in admission interview.

    Year 2: HK$57,080

    Tuition fees in 2020/21 are subject to the final approval from the Education Bureau.

    Besides the 240-hour internship programme in Social Media and Digital Marketing, students also have the opportunities to participate in up to 50 days of Shanghai / Taiwan summer working experience programme where they can work in different local commercial companies or professional firms to acquire practical experiences.

    Upon completion of the programme, students will have the competencies to work for a wide range of positions in various marketing related industries, for example:
