透過參觀專為本港日資公司提供工作轉介服務的機構,及參與職業講座,讓同學認識市場行情及求職資訊;日籍職員更與同學仔參與角色扮演,模擬職場情景,以日文對答交流。

Students may participate in career seminars to gain insights into the market trends and job-seeking information. Japanese staff members engage in role-playing activities with the students, simulating workplace scenarios and facilitating Japanese language communication.

Higher Diploma
Higher Diploma in Language and Corporate Communication (Japanese)
Mode of Study: Full-time
Duration: 2 years
Entry requirement: Holder of Diploma of Applied Education (DAE) / Diploma Yi Jin (DYJ) / attended Level 2 in 5 HKDSE subjects including Chinese and English / Aged 21 or above with 1 year working experience

Programme features:

  • An exclusive sub-degree programme with a double major in Japanese and Corporate Communication
  • Attainment of advanced levels in “Japanese Language Proficiency Test” (JLPT) can be completed within 2 years
  • Provision of Japanese study tour to broaden the students’ horizons
  • Articulation to local or Japanese university
  • Scholarships are offered to outstanding students who have financial difficulty joining the Study Tour to Japan





The qualification of this programme is recognised under the Qualifications Framework in Hong Kong.

Diploma of Applied Education
Diploma of Applied Education (Japanese Language Culture)

Mode of Study: 1-year Full-time / 2-year Part-time
Entry requirement: Secondary 6 leavers / Aged 21 or above with 1 year working experience

Programme Features:

  • Comprehensive study on Japanese Language and Culture through Anime, Manga, Video Games, TV Dramas, Music, Magazines, etc
  • Government-recognized programme equivalent to Level 2 results in 5 subjects of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (including Chinese and English)
  • Qualification for admission to Higher Diploma in Japanese (or other subjects) of local universities
  • Eligible students will benefit for full, half, or 30% tuition reimbursement from the government
  • Flexibility of class schedules is tailor-made for the working people (Part-time programme only)

Short Course
Elementary Japanese Course

Mode of Study: Part-time
Duration: 13 lessons with total 39 hours
Entry requirement: Interested in Japanese language; or beginners of learning Japanese

Programme features:

  • Certificate of Completion will be issued by The Japan Society of Hong Kong in collaboration with the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong
  • Collaboration with The Japan Society of Hong Kong with the same curriculum and synchronized teaching progress
  • Preparation for achieving N5 in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)
  • Articulation to “General Japanese Year 1”

Language Centre

Language Centre (LC) provides a cozy environment with its state-of-the-art design and a wealth of language resourceswhere students can immerse in Japanese language learning environment outside the classroom.

  • Theatre: The grand Theatre is an ideal place for watching different types and languages of the movies individually or with a group of students
  • Chat Café: The decently furnished Chat Café, located in the centre of LC, is a signature area where students enjoy sipping a cup of coffee while chatting with our native Japanese speakers on daily-life topics
  • Treasure Island: It houses a vast array of language resources ranging from dictionaries, readers to movies, students can also hunt for “Monthly Picks”
