Project Details

To encourage Hong Kong youth to start up their cafeteria in Greater Bay Area.Participants will be offered entrepreneurship training, internship opportunities and financial subsidy in this Programme and the most outstanding team could win an investment fund up to $1,000,000 for starting up and running their proposed business cafeteria in GBA!

  • 1-month part-time mode Basic Training: Understand yourself and other participants who could be your potential business partners, and get to know the general knowledge of starting up and runninging a business.
  • 6-month part-time mode Advanced Training: Master practical skills and knowledge of starting up and running a cafeteria in GBA, and learn to create and submit your business plan with your final teammates.
  • Full-time mode Internship: Learn and practise at stores of Pacific Coffee shop in Shenzhen to understand coffee shop operation and workplace culture in GBA.

Who could apply?

  • Target: Hong Kong ID cardholders at aged 18 to 35 who are interested in starting and running a business in Greater Bay Area.
  • Study model:Full-Time & Part-Time combined mode
  • Quota:18 - 30 people
  • Application methods:Application is free of charge, interest parties can submit the filled application form by 17,July 2020.

 

Initial Training

  • Location:Hong Kong
  • Duration:1-month
  • Training Subsidy:Approx. HK$4,000 per participant
  • Intended training outcomes:
  • Understand your own strengths and weakness, and that of other participants to form teams.
  • Acquire basic skills of starting and running a coffee shop.
  • Prepare for Internship in GBA.

Advanced Training

  • Location: Hong Kong and Shenzhen
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Training Grants:Approx. HK$12,600 per participant
  • Intended training outcomes:
  • Understand business and laws of Mainland China.
  • Get to learn the successful elements from marketing and promotion.
  • Master financial management skills.
  • Learn Human Resources and related laws of Mainland China.
  • Understand potential risks and management skills from investment and running business.
  • Master to create a business plan* for starting up and running a cafeteria in GBA.

*The final selected business plan owner team can be awarded the investment fund by CR Enterprise to start up and run the business as their proposal for not less than two years.

Internship

  • Location: Pacific Coffee Shop (Shenzhen)
  • Duration: 19/04/2021 - 06/06/2021
  • Training Grants:Approx. HK$19,000 per participant
  • Intended outcomes:
  • Get familiar with coffee shop operations and servicing industry in GBA.
  • Understand product source and supply, management and handling techniques.
  • Master coffee making skills under the instruction from professional barista.
  • Learn about food safety knowledge of Mainland China.
  • Taste the work culture and life in the GBA.
