On January 20, 2026, HKCT Institute of Higher Education (HKCT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Carlyle & Co. Hong Kong, a unique private members' club under the Rosewood Hotel Group. This collaboration aims to bring high-end industry expertise onto campus, nurturing a new generation of professionals equipped with international vision and practical skills.

According to the MOU, Carlyle & Co. Hong Kong will serve as the academic advisor and supporting organization for HKCT’s Tourism Management (Hospitality / Culinary) programmes. Emphasising comprehensive learning and hands-on experience, the club intends to offer select signature facilities for educational use.

Coursework is regularly updated through an integrated, two-way exchange with industry, aligning it with evolving trends. Carlyle & Co. Hong Kong experts will visit HKCT to deliver seminars on topics including human resources, hospitality management, and customer relationships management, and share real business cases, while HKCT’s faculty will maintain regular dialogue with the club’s talent & culture team. This interaction ensures the curriculum reflects market realities, equipping students with the skills the high-end market demands.
