Objective
To offer scholarship to students with excellence academic achievements and excellence record in community services and/or extracurricular activities or participation

Amount
A maximum full-tuition fee waiver for the first year of study after deduction of Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme (NMTSS)
(In the 2023/2024 academic year, eligible local Full-time Self-financing Undergraduate Studies students will receive an annual subsidy of $33,740) 

Target & Requirement

1. Current HKDSE students:

• Attained HKDSE 21 points or above (Best 5 subjects, including English, Chinese and Liberal Studies); and
• Excellent record in community services and/or extracurricular activities or participation; and
• Excellent performance in the selection interview; and
• Being accepted to enroll in Year 1 of Full-time Bachelor’s Degree of HKCT Institute of Higher
  Education (CTIHE)

2. Graduates of Higher Diploma or Associate Degree:

• Attained cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above in the preceding qualification; and
• Excellent record in community services and/or extracurricular activities or participation; and
• Excellent performance in the selection interview; and
• Being accepted to enroll in HKCT Institute of Higher Education (CTIHE)
  - Bachelor’s Degree (Full-time, Year 1 or Year 3)
  - Bachelor’s Degree (Part-time, Year 3)

• Good performance in the admission interview; and
• Being accepted to enroll in
  - Diploma (1-year, Full -time); or
  - Professional Diploma (1-year, Full-time); or
  - Higher Diploma (2-year, Full-time); or
  - Bachelor’s Degree (4-year, Full-time of Year-1 and Year-3 entry); or
  - Oversea Bachelor’s Degree (3-year, Full-time and mixed mode)

(In the 2023/2024 academic year, eligible local students will receive an annual subsidy up to $22,480 or $39,140 on the specific Higher Diploma programmes (including Computer Science, Creative Industries, Sports and Recreation, and Tourism and Hospitality))
