Lecturer (Fieldwork Coordination)

Department of Applied Social Sciences

Duties

Coordinate and supervise students in field practicums of Social Work Programme

Organize and conduct pre-placement workshops and activities

Perform teaching and student supervision of the respective discipline

Carry out academic and students activities and duties for quality assurance

Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Candidates should have a Master Degree or above in the relevant disciplines

Applicants should be a Registered Social Worker and have minimum of 5 years’ Social Work relevant post-degree qualification working experiences

Teaching experience in the related discipline in tertiary education sector is preferred

Preference will be given to those with strong academic / professional experience and professional qualifications

Appointees should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills
