Job Description

Head of Programme (Diploma of Applied Education)

Division of Languages and General Studies

Duties

Provide academic and administrative leadership to ensure the achievement of intended learning outcomes
Design, review, and monitor programme curricula to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements and alignment with industry standards
Oversee the logistics of admission scheduling and classroom arrangements to support effective programme delivery
Manage financial budget and monitor progress across multiple projects
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with corporate partners, industry bodies, and stakeholders
Lead new programme strategies to support long-term institutional growth
Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution
At least 4 years’ working experience, including a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience in the management of Diploma of Applied Education programmes
Knowledge in programme management and external accreditation processes is preferred
Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to work under pressure and thrive in a dynamic academic environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
