HKCT’s Entrance Scholarships are open to all local and non-local students (including Mainland Chinese students). As long as applicants are recommended by the academic division, enroled in designated programmes, and meet the selection criteria, they are eligible to apply.
2. Can scholarships be applied for after enrolment?
Scholarship applications must be recommended and nominated by the academic division or faculty during the admission and interview stage.
3. Which programmes offer Freshmen Entrance Scholarships?
Entrance Scholarships are available for bachelor’s degrees, higher diplomas, diplomas, and some designated professional diploma programmes. Scholarship availability and amounts vary by programme. 4. Can I apply for multiple scholarships at the same time?
Each new student is eligible to apply for and receive only one Entrance Scholarship.
5. Will attendance and academic performance affect eligibility for the scholarship?
Some scholarships have specific requirements regarding attendance as a condition for disbursement. For example, the Ann Chiang Scholarship requires recipients to complete a full year of assessments, maintain an attendance rate of 80% or above, and ensure that all tuition fees are fully paid in order to receive the scholarship.
