Internal Student Articulation Scholarship - For Applied Learning Course Students

Internal Student Articulation Scholarship aims to encourage HKCT students to make advance planning on further study and choose to articulate in HKCT. If you are graduating in year 2025, fill out and submit the online application form by 8 Jan 2025, and complete the following procedures, you are eligible to be granted the scholarship of $10,000 (for articulation to any designated Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree programme) or $5,000 (for articulation to any designated Diploma programme).

(You can submit your application after the deadline. However, scholarship availability will be limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.)

Step 1
Select the programme you are interested in, HKCT will provide you a provisional offer
Step 2
Select a tick box of applying for 'Internal Articulation Scholarship' in the same form
Step 3
Interview will be arranged for you. The conditional offer letter will be issued once you pass the interview.
Step 4
After completing the registration and settling the Deposit / 1st installment of tuition fee before the deadline stipulated in the offer letter, your study place will be reserved. The scholarship will be distributed later.

Designated HKCT Bachelor Degree programmes

The designated programmes with $10,000 'Internal Student Articulation Scholarship'

  • Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Social Work
  • Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Sports Management with Coaching


* NMTSS This programme is subsidised under Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme (NMTSS). In the 2025/26 academic year, a subsidy of up to $35,120 per academic year will be provided to each eligible local student admitted to these programmes.

General Requirement
  • Apply for any of the designated HKCT Bachelor Degree programmes
  • Complete the admission interview
  • Attain result and attendance requirement
  • Pay the deposit or 1st tuition fee payment

Remarks: there is an application quota for each programme which will be given by order to applicants who settled first tuition fee payment.

Students who have completed this 2-year programme and fulfilled designated requirements will be eligible to receive admission offer of the related 2-year CTIHE Bachelor Degree of senior-year entry (i.e. direct entry to the third year of the Programme).

This programme is subsidised under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP). In the 2025/26 academic year, a subsidy of up to $23,390 or $40,730 (depending on the designated programme) per academic year will be provided to each eligible local student admitted to these programmes.

  • Pay the deposit or 1st tuition fee payment

The designated programmes with $5,000 'Internal Student Articulation Scholarship'

  • Diploma in Creative Design (Visual Communication) (Full-time)
  • Diploma in Creative Design (Interior Design) (Full-time)

General Requirement
  • Apply for any of the designated HKCT Diploma programmes
  • Complete the admission interview
  • Attain result and attendance requirement
  • Pay the deposit or 1st tuition fee payment

Remarks: there is an application quota for each programme which will be given by order to applicants who settled first tuition fee payment.


The amount and issue of Scholarship 
 
  1. The amount of scholarship will be dependent on the level of articulation programme
  • Articulate to the designated Professional Diploma / Higher Diploma / Bachelor Degree: eligible to apply for the $10,000 Internal Student Articulation Scholarship
  • Articulate to the designated Diploma: eligible to apply for the $5,000 Internal Student Articulation Scholarship
  1. The Scholarship will be issued after the student completes the programme of the academic year
  • Students who choose to study for the designated Professional Diploma, Higher Diploma and Bachelor Degree programme will be awarded $5,000 in the first year of completion, and another $5,000 after the completion of the entire programme
  • Students who articulate to designated diploma will receive the scholarship of $5,000 after completing the programme
  1. HKCT will only issue relevant scholarship to students who have no debts

  2. Students applying for some other HKCT scholarships at the same time are not accepted

  3. Limited amount on scholarship quota. Assessment of applicantsʼ eligibility and the granting of scholarship are subject to the final decision of HKCT. Applicantsʼ objection to the final result will not be accepted
