HKCT has been leading Vocational & Professional Education and Training, offering a wide range of programmes to fulfill the needs of students of different ages and levels. HKCT Institute of Higher Education provides full-time and part-time Bachelor’s Degree in various disciplines including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Sports Management, and Social Work.
HKCT's Bachelor's Degree programmes are delivered in full-time mode with face-to-face teaching. Some Bachelor's Degree programmes also offer a part-time mode, suitable for working professionals or students who require flexible learning arrangements.
Regarding programme structure, Bachelor's Degree programmes are mainly divided into 4-year programmes (for Year 1 entry) and 2-year programmes (for Year 3/ senior year entry). The curriculum encompasses professional theory, practical training, and industry placements. For example, the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Sports Management with Coaching, students are required to study core professional subjects, elective subjects and complete 300 hours of industry placement, which emphasises a balance between theory and practice. Other disciplines such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Social Work also include placement opportunities, group projects and interdisciplinary learning modules. Some programmes will arrange collaborations with industry to enhance employability.

The entry requirements for full-time Bachelor's Degree programmes (Year 1 entry) at HKCT are mainly based on the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) "332A2" standard, including: Level 3 in Chinese* & English Languages, Level 2 in Mathematics (Compulsory Part) and one elective subject#, and an "Attained" level in Citizenship and Social Development+. The performance in Applied Learning subjects would be considered on a case-by-case basis. Some programmes accept other entry qualifications, including being 21 years of age or above, or holding equivalent qualifications, and passing an admission interview.
For applicants entering Year 3 (senior year), the general requirement is to hold a relevant Higher Diploma or Associate Degree and pass an admission interview.
