HKCT's further education programmes cover various levels of the Qualifications Framework, ranging from full-time Diploma of Applied Education/Diploma, Higher Diploma programmes, Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes. Recruitment Centre Arrangement for Full-time Programme

HKCT Recruitment Arrangement

HKCT will provide both physical and online admission services from now until 28 August 2026, allowing students to choose the method that best suits their individual needs.

Online Admission:
Step 1: Programme consultation through WhatsApp / Phone (if needed)
Step 2: Apply programme via online application platform
Step 3: Submit identity document and academic qualification via WhatsApp
Step 4: Conduct admission interview via Zoom (if needed)
Step 5: Receive interview result and admission or conditional offer via email
Step 6: Pay deposit or first payment to secure the placement

Physical Recruitment Centres:

Step 1: Meet with our programme consultation advisor (if needed)

Step 2: Apply programme via HKCT online application and payment platform
Step 3: Submit true copies of your identity document and academic qualification at our verification counter
Step 4: Conduct admission interview
Step 5: Wait for your interview and admission/conditional offer result at the result waiting area
Step 6: Pay deposit to secure the placement at the cashier

Master's Degree

Full-time Master's Degree Programme

HKCT offers Master's degree programmes, primarily in Social Sciences, dedicated to cultivating leaders and innovative thinkers equipped to meet the evolving needs of society. These programmes enable students to deepen their expertise in Social Sciences, equipping them with the specialist knowledge and skills required for effective career counselling and social service management. Graduates gain professional recognition, enhancing their career competitiveness.

Bachelor's Degree

Full-time Bachelor's Degree Programme

HKCT offers a diverse range of four-year full-time Honours Bachelor's degree programmes, encompassing specialist areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Sports Management, and Social Work. Students can first complete a two-year Higher Diploma programme, then articulate to Bachelor's degree (Year 3 entry). Some programmes are subsidised by the government's Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme (NMTSS), reducing the financial burden on students.

The above programmes are provided by HKCT Institute of Higher Education.
This programme is subsidised under the "Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme" with annual subsidy amount of $35,120 in 2026/27. The Scheme is subject to annual review by the government.

Higher Diploma

Full-time Higher Diploma Programme

HKCT offers a wide array of Higher Diploma programmes across various disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Sports Management, Social Work, Educational Administration and Management, Early Childhood Education, Tourism and Hospitality, and Design and Media Production. Students gain specialist knowledge and practical experience during the two-year Higher Diploma and can seamlessly articulate to a related full-time Bachelor's degree via the '2+2 articulation pathway', ensuring a smooth progression within HKCT.

Students who have completed this 2-year programme and fulfilled designated requirements will be eligible to receive admission offer of the related 2-year CTIHE Bachelor Degree of senior-year entry (i.e. direct entry to the third year of the Programme).

Eligible local students will receive an annual subsidy up to $23,390 or $40,730 on the specific Higher Diploma programmes in the 2026/27 academic year under 'Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors' (SSSDP). The Scheme is subject to annual review by the government.

Diploma of Applied Education

Full-time Diploma of Applied Education

HKCT's Diploma of Applied Education programmes are primarily designed for individuals who have completed S.6 or are aged 21 and above. Covering a broad range of vocational fields, these programmes provide practical foundational training. Upon completion of the one-year programme, students can progress to a two-year full-time Higher Diploma, embarking on their academic journey at HKCT.

HKCT now offers a Diploma in Creative Design, covering various practical areas such as graphic design, digital media, and interior design. Throughout this one-year full-time programme, students can fully explore their personal interests, determine their future direction, and build a solid professional foundation. Upon completion, students can seamlessly articulate to our two-year full-time Higher Diploma, easily planning their ideal academic progression pathway.

Additionally, some of the full-time programmes are covered under the 'Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP)', providing annual government subsidies of $23,390 or $40,730. Articulation Pathway of Full-time Programmes
